 <title>OASIS is pleased to announce a Green IT for Green Policies conference in Brussels on 13/14 October</title>

 <description>&lt;p&gt;
OASIS is partnering with  the 2010 Belgian Presidency of the European Union (EU) to host a &lt;em&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Green I.T. for Green Policy&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/em&gt; conference on 13-14 October 2010 in Brussels, Belgium. This conference will be an official event in the EU calendar during the Belgian Presidency and will be hosted at the Belgium Federal Ministry of Finance.  
&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;
The eGov Member Section Steering Committee is playing a prominent role in the planning of this conference.

 <title>Steering Committee approves release of new Guidance Document</title>

 <title>OASIS and WCO sign an MOU to promote technology standards</title>

The eGov Member Section will take the lead role for OASIS in liaising with the WCO and helping them to address the needs of Customs administrations in emerging areas relating to information technology.
